Need help with VoiceGuide IVR Information

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I hope you are doing well. I have come across your software while I have been looking for an IVR Survey where we do automatic outbound calls, we get the numbers to call from DB, once respondents answer the call, they are asked questions, the like are you available to participate in this survey/call press 1 for yes(ask the first question), press 2 if no (end call)

We may ask different questions based on the campaign. We want to store the answers/keystrokes they pressed and generate report. I am currently using 3CX and Dinstar as a gateway (where we inserted the simcards we got from local telecom operators, we are using shortcodes from different telecom operators). I want to know how your software can be a solution for us, and how we can host it on our servers. I would appreciate if you could reply to me ASAP.

Regards,
M

What you describe is easily accomplished with VoiceGuide.

You can install VoiceGuide on your own Windows based machine/server and have VoiceGuide make calls direct to Dinstar, or send calls through the 3CX and have it forward the calls to Dinstar.

Once call is answered VoiceGuide will run the IVR Callflow/Script of your own design.

Here is some information on how the callflows are created:

https://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/scriptintro.htm

and how the outgoing calls are queued to be made:

Software can be downloaded form here:

and here are the installation instructions:

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Hi, thanks for the reply. Can we use Voiceguide instead of 3CX, or voiceguaed can be directly integrated into the Dinstar Gateway. This is really what we are looking for. How can we test it? Is their any trial period for the software?

VoiceGuide can send the VoIp/SIP calls direct to the Dinstar Gateway.

You would just have VoiceGuide send the calls direct to the Dinstar Gateway's IP address.

Please see the "Outbound VoIP Calls" section of the online help file:

https://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/dial_voip.htm

You can trial outgoing calls with the free evaluation version of VoiceGuide, you will just need to restart the VoiceGuide service after making a few outgoing calls.

VoiceGuide license pricing is listed on our order page:

What does Limited to controlling 30 lines mean?

I want to test this the soonest possible, so that I can purchase the license. Will I get support from you regarding the installation, setup and testing of the tool (creating and running an outbound IVR)?

One last question where can I see comparisons of professional, Enterprise and dialer licenses?

It mans that only up to 30 simultaneous calls can be handled at any one time.

Hi,

Trial Version Limitations

boxgt.gif Needs restarting every 1 hour.
boxgt.gif Dialer will only call up to 10 telephone numbers.
boxgt.gif Limited to controlling 30 lines.

You said "It means that only up to 30 simultaneous calls can be handled at any one time" but here it says Dialer will only call up to 10 telephone numbers. I am confused here, can you please explain in detail what these two points mean?

I have sent an email to the sales team but I have yet to hear back from them regarding the installation and configuration support services. In the meantime, can you please share any documentation on how we can integrate voiceguide into the Dinstar Gateway?

Regards,

The free trial version allows you see the software working on your own server before going ahead with purchasing the licenses.

You will be able to create IVR call-flows, and place calls into the system and have these incoming callers go through your callsflows, an have system make outgoing calls and take the call recipient through the IVR callflow when they answer the call.

The number of calls the free trial version can handle is limited, but sufficient to confirm that the call handling is working, and to confirm that VoiceGuide interoperates with rest of your VoIP/SIP network work.

The number of "lines controlled" refers to the number of simultaneous incoming calls the Trial version can handle.

The "Dialer will only call up to X telephone numbers" refers to how many outgoing calls you can place when using the Trial version.

Details of how outbound SIP calls are made by VoiceGuide to any SIP device - like Dinstar - are detailed here: https://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/dial_voip.htm
