Voice Guide Application Query

We are interested in purchasing your software primarily for the purpose of using the Outbound dialer, where we have a database of customers that the system would call and play an automated message.

We have a PBX and call pilot system that we use to handle IVR and extensions, inbound & outbound calls. (Analog Lines).

Just a few Questions,

1) How would the application integrate with our current system?

2) Do we need to purchase any hardware to use the Outbound dialer feature?

3) If we want to use the application to be our new IVR what would we need to consider?

4) How much would the system cost using our current configuration?

5) Is there any other Language support i.e Java or PHP

Are you referring to how calls would be loaded into the system? (please see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/diallistinto.htm)

If you will be placing outbound calls on the physical lines/extensions (and not VoIP) then you will need a Dialogic card to which the telephone line can then be attached.

3) If we want to use the application to be our new IVR what would we need to consider?

VoiceGuide is a flexible IVR application builer. It may make more sense to take callers though an IVR script within VoiceGuide then transfer the answered calls to another IVR.

4) How much would the system cost using our current configuration?

Pricing depends on number of lines required. The prices are listed on our WWW order page: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm

5) Is there any other Language support i.e Java or PHP

It is possible to change the VBScript modules to run Java Script insted (JScript).

And you can call any other programs/batch files/etc using the Run Program module.

Is it possible to use an External Voice Modem, if we are only interested in the outbound dialer feature?

Would not recommend trying to use a voice modem.

A voice modem is not the right equipment to use. A voice modem cannot even tell when the outgoing call has been answered.
