Capture Customer Hang-up & Dbquery Issue

Recommended Posts

I am evaluating your software and I have two questions:

(1) Within your modules, how do I capture if a customer hangs up the phone. Currently the script I created has to run to completion before the line will become available to receive another call; regardless if the customer hangs up during the playing of the first module.

(2) I am receiving the following error in version 7.0.8

ERROR v7.0.3252.36547 (Wed 26/11/2008 20:18:14.16) vbsDBQuery_Run : Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

at ..(String strIn, String strSection)

at ..(Int32 iLineId_In, String strModuleTitle, String strOleDbName, String strOleDbConnectString, String strSQL)

I am utilize MS Access as my testing database.

I can run the script without any issues with version 7.0.6. My database Select and Insert statements work correctly. Once I upgraded to version 7.0.8, I started receiving the error. I have since reverted back to 7.0.6 so I can complete my evaluation.

Thanks for your help.

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Trace Logs which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what happened.

Trace files are created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

Please post the vgEngine traces and the VoiceGuide script used.

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.

Since I am new to the forum, when I post the zipped up log files, are other forum users able to view / download the files? or are they just available to the voiceguide support team?

Thanks.
