Transfer Call Problem

Hello, I am unable to transfer a call.

I have the voiceguide enetrprise + Dialer...

and I have a dialogic 4 port card.

 

I tried to transfer manually and it worked... butwhen i use the transfer in VG it doesnt ever work. Ive selected each option on the transfer module to test them all out, but none have been suuccessful.

 

I have 4 phone Lines... not a pbx...

Ive attached the logs and scripts etc...

As a test, I am just trying to have it so that I press the number 7 button, and then VG will hookflash and dial another number (using the same line)... but it never works...

 

any advice to help me get this working?

Most likely the hookflash length has no been set properly.

 

What is actually happening when the transfer is being made?

 

If the caller placed on hold by the phone company when the hookflash is made? Or can the caller hear the number being dialed? Or is the caller disconnected when the hookflash is made?

My hookflash was too short as you stated. I changed it to 20 and everything works perfectly!

Thanks for letting us know the issue is resolved.

 

Just for benefit of other readers of this thread, the DXBD_FLASHTM setting is in 10ms units, so a value of 20 represents a hookflash of 200ms length.
