You will need one 30-line license.

You can either use version 6 or version 7 of VoiceGuide.

Both version 6 and version 7 allow you to use up to 30 channels during evaluation, so you will be able to use the evaluation of either version to fully test with 30 simultaneous calls active on the E1.

Is this E1 line configured as ISDN or CAS? (We strongly recommend ISDN be used).

Will the system be used for inbound only calls, or will outbound calls be made as well?

The pricing is shown on the online order form: https://secure.voiceguide.com/order_vg.htm

If outbound calls need to be made then the "Dialer" license will be required.

ok Thanks, our system used for inbound calls only.

Can I use E1 with PRI configuration ?

Yes. The "PRI" is just another term to indicate an "ISDN" line.

The tecom comp. transfer the lines by obtical fibers !??

Single E1 and T1 lines are terminated with a twisted copper pair type connection - two twisted pairs leading to RJ45 plug.

Dialogic T1/E1 cards have RJ45 sockets to accept the RJ45 plugs.

Sample Config.xml and ConfigLine.xml are installed in the same directory where the actual Config.xml and ConfigLine.xml files are located. The filenames of of the sample files describe the contents.

eg:

Sample Config for 30 ports using one E1 ISD.xml

and

Sample ConfigLine for ISDN lines.xml
