Additional Software For Using Intel® Dialogic® D/4pciu

I want to buy this dialogic card: Intel® Dialogic® D/4PCI U F EURO and my supplier says me that I need an special software, Intel® Dialogic® System Release 6.0 for Windows®, for using this card.

I have found in Intel Web: "Intel® Dialogic® system release software includes the drivers and libraries you will need to write an application using an Intel® telecom product. These software releases also include full documentation sets as well as development tools, management utilities, and additional software features."

 

 

My question is: Is it true?, do I really need this software to use this dialogic card with VoiceGuide?

The 'Software' that they are referring to are drivers for the card...

 

For D/4PCIUF you should be able to use the "SR5.1.1 + SR5.1.1 SP1 + D4PCIU support patch." combination. See http://www.voiceguide.com/suppRecomHardware.htm for links.
