Tranfer A Call

Hi,

 

Can you tell me how I can can give a command to transfer a call to an other extension?

 

I wrote a script and I must send a DTMF string to make the connection. I am using a Meridian 1 Option 11 PBX. I am trying &,extension but it doesn't work. I am using the D/160Sc-LS Dialogic 16 ports card.

 

I need help please.

Just use the Call Transfer module...

 

Have you tried it?

 

You can also send DTMF strings using the "Play" module. Just type the DTMF string in the "Sound file to play" text field and that DTMF string will be played.

Use an exclamation mark ! to indicate sending a hookflash.

I tried the AutoAttendant.vgs script in the directory:

 

C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\more sample scripts\

AutoAttendant\AutoAttendant.vgs.

 

I did it also with your advice.

 

I configure the Sales module to transfer the call to extension 4543 but it doesn't work.

 

I choose at the Sales properties for Phone:4543 and for transfer I choose for PBX Blind Transfer.

 

When I installed the dialogic software I left every settings on default.

 

 

Question:

 

Must I change any settings on the card to make call transfer able?

Hello Support Team,

 

I followed the instructions at: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Dial...llTransfers.htm

 

I configured every thing again and now when I press a key (2) after hearing the intro at the beginning to transfer a call, it rings 1 time and then hang up.

 

Can you tell me what is now wrong?

I see that you are using a blind transfer.

Is the caller put on hold when the hookflash is issued, or is the call hung up at the time when the card issues a hookflash?

 

btw. You really should be using VoiceGuide for Dialogic...

Sometimes you can hear that the call is transfered to the target phone.

It is ringing and when you pickup the phone you hear nothing and after a view seconds the call is ending.

Sometimes the caller put on hold when the hookflash is issued.

Sometimes you here a hangup and then it is dialing again.

 

I don't know what to do.

 

What do you mean with: You really should be using VoiceGuide for Dialogic... ?

Hello Support Team,

 

I tested the lines if they support call transfer by dialing with a telephone.

I noticed that two of the lines doesn't support call transfer and so I put two other lines which can. Now all the lines support call transfer.

There was an other problem.That was the hookflash time. I change the hookflash length to 89 and now I can transfer calls inside.

When I want to dial outside, I must change the hookflash length to 100 (example from a number inside to a mobile phone outside)

 

Now I want to connect two outside line to the patch panel, because I want to monitor an outside process and if there is a problem it must be able to dail from outside ( POTS to Mobile, POTS to POTS)

I tried to put the appropriate hookflash lenght but I can't find it up till now.

It is realy frustrated to change the hookflash lenght every time.

Is there a way to put one hookflash lenght to dial from POTS to Mobile and from POTS to Pots?

When I am dialing from a pbx (inside) to a mobile (outside) the mobile phone is ringing good after 3 miss calls. What is the problem that it can't ring good at the first call?

The switch/pbx will only use one hookflash length. It does not care if the transfer is made internally or externally.

After I picked up the mobile, I am hearing the middle of a message.

Have you tried using "Monitored Transfer".

I downloaded VoiceGuide for Dialogic. Should I overwrite the old files? How does it work?
