Basic Set Up

Recommended Posts

Hi ,

We are trying to design basic IVR, where option 1 for the Credit card payments and option 2 to transfer call to the operator. We bought Intel D/4PCIUF card as recned in the voiceguide hardware page. we have basic questions

(1) Tel line from the socket goes directly to channel one of the D/4PCIUF card and when customer chooses option 2 to spk to the operator.. how can we take the call..cos there is no tel out from the card??. The only way is to take second telephone line and when customer chooses to spk to operator we have to dial out to our local number or is there any way to use the same telephone line?.

(2) If we have to take the second line then .. which software license we have to buy .. voiceguide professional +dialer 1 line is enough or we have to go for 4 licenses?..

(3) your website lists some of the creditcard payment systems.. can it be used for Australian payment systems. At the moment we are using www.eway.com.au payment system for our web payments.

Thanks!

You can have the call transferred - do you have a PBX or does you phone company support call transfers? See: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/modXfer.htm

The real-time -time credit card authorization and payment processing script which is available does not support direct linking to www.eway.com.au at this stage - only the merchant gateways listed on http://www.voiceguide.com/suppSampleScripts.htm
