Premium Rate Setup Advice

Recommended Posts

The card I want should have 1 or more RJ45 sockets (normal phone plugs).

It should be able to fit onto a standard modern motherboard (h/w) and

integrate with Windows XP TAPI drivers (s/w).

I think that made sense (!)

The solution is as follows:

RJ45 presentation in house links to PC Dialogic Board. PC acts as

answer machine with IVR capable of DTMF (digit recognition) and

crucially, digit capture

Example:

Speech 'Welcome, press any key to go to next stage'

Action press any key

Speech 'Please enter your full telephone number'

Action enter tell number which is stored on PC

Speech 'Thank you'

Action Call ends

Question: Will this software complete all these requirements and what hardware recomendations do you sugest?

Thanks,

Will

Can VoiceGuide do a data dip?

For example:

'Please enter the 6 digit PIN of the product'

DTMF enter 123456

'Thank you, we are looking up your product'

Check database entry 123456 and return associated speech

'You have selected Product X'

Is this possible?

OK, we should use Dialogic. What about the base system requirements?

We will run XP but what hardware spec?

Many thanks,

Will
