D-link Isdn Modem

Hello

 

I am trying to get an IVR system up and running using a D-Link DU-128TA+ ISDN modem running CAPI using ComISDN.

 

But everytime a call is received, Voiceguide freezes when it tries to play the welcome message (Credit Card Example)

 

I am currently trying the Demo as i am looking into several IVR products, and it would be cool to see an actual working VoiceGuide as i think it looks like a very promising product

We have tested the VoiceGuide+ComISDN with AVM's and Eicon's cards.

 

Sounds like there is some incompatibility between ComISDN and D-Link's implementation of CAPI that's causing problems here..

 

Could you please send us a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is going wrong.

 

To capture a trace to VoiceGuide's \log\ subdirectory please modify VG.INI's LogToFile entry in [TraceLog] section to be:

 

[TraceLog]

LogToFile=1

 

Then start VG again and a log file will be created.

Trace shows that the call is answered OK, and yes it looks like after the commend is issued to ComISDN to play a file then nothing happens...

 

Have you set the A-Law/u-Law encoding setting in ComISDN correct for your local area? Incorrect setting of these were previously leading to sound quality problems on other cards - maybe this could fix things on your setup.

 

At this stage I'd recommend contacting ComISDN regarding this issue, they may be able to indicate what could be going wrong here...

Hey

 

It is setup to run using A-Law, since i am in the EU.

 

I am going to contact ComISDN.
