How NOT to play a sound file

Recommended Posts

I have a welcome message that gives options for 2, 3, and 4. I'd like to begin the message by saying "If you know the extension of the person you are trying to reach, dial it now" and give out three digit extensions (directly to voicemail boxes) that begin with '1'. However, my Welcome menu is a 1 digit prompt for the 2, 3, and 4 numbers.

I tried to design this by making '1' immediately hand off to a prompt looking for two digits, but I can't figure out how to make that work properly without it playing some kind of audio file.

Is there a more appropriate way to accomplish this?

In v4.8.45 onwards:

If you type "none" (without the quotes) in the Sound File text box then no file will be played.
