Trace shows call is ended due to [Loop Current Drop detected] about 1 second after starting to play the message...

If you believe that your Dialogic card is falsely detecting the Loop Current Drop then please download v5.1.3a from our WWW, and when installing that version select the "TAPI" option - the TAPI option in v5.1.3a does not react to Loop Current Drop reports from the Dialogic card.

Please delete the file OutDialQue.mdb from VoiceGuide's \data\ subdirectory and start VoiceGuide again.

This message is displaying as that file is in old format - v5.1.3 uses a newer format...

same problem after installing new software
Please post trace if incoming call after fixing the OutDialQue.mdb issue.

I had the same problem with my Dialogic D/120JCT-LS and Dialogic D4/PCI card but my VFX40ESC plus card worked ok.

Creating a tone file using the PBXpert which is shipped with Dialogic drivers fixed my problem.

PBXpert is a utility which will train your Dialogic card to work with your Telephone line since all telephone lines are not created equally. Even if you are not using lines through a PBX you may need to use this utility to train your Dialogic card.

You can find out how to do this in a lot of sites on the net or can refer to the Dialogic documentation.

After making the tone file configure your card to use the tone file you have made.

I will attach the steps bellow which I got from the web.

1. Make sure that your Dialogic card is installed and operational.

2. Connect two telephone lines to your Dialogic card making note of their phone numbers.

3. Run the PBXpert.

4. Use the PBXpert Wizard.

5. Enter a name and model number for your PBX or telephone lines. This will be used to create a name for the configuration file known as a "Tone Set File".

6. If you have entered PBX configuration strings in the Dialogic TSP then enter the name of the PBX.

7. Select your telephony device.

8. Select the first line device (channel) and enter its phone number.

9. Select the second line device (channel) and enter its phone number.

10. Confirm the information you entered.

11. Now the "PBXpert/32 Wizard Auto Line Test" will run.

12. Now the "Learn <your PBX name> Tones" will run.

13. Click the "Keep Data" button.

14. Now it will "Verify the Learn". Click OK when it is finished.

15. Click "Finish" and exit PBXpert

You now need to configure the Dialogic device to use the file you just created:

1. Run the "Dialogic Configuration Manager".

2. If the service is running then stop it.

3. Select your telephony device.

4. Configure the device.

5. Select the "Misc." tab.

6. Modify the "TSFFileSupport" option to have a value of "Yes".

7. Select the "Files" tab.

8. Modify the TSFFileName to use your file created by PBXpert.

9. Apply the changes and click OK.

There are two ways of setting the disconnect tones - one using PBXpert & .TSF file as outlined above and one in the Dialogic TSP - which is described in the VoiceGuide Help file - see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/html/Disc...ctionDetect.htm

Many people commented they find using the Dialogic TSP easier and just as reliable way of setting the disconnect tones - so that is the way that we recommend users try first. The PBXpert / .TSF files approach is also mentioned in VG Help file - and full instructions on how to use PBXpert are provided with PBXpert itself as well.
