Is Anyone Here Still Using / Once Used An Analog Voice Modem With Vg?

I have another post here in the forum re ring detect problems with certain voice modems on VOIP based analog lines.

VoiceGuide tech support tell me that voice modems are lousy compared to professional telephony cards (such as Dialogic) and I'm sure they're right, but until I get a Dialogic card, is anyone getting any reasonable performance from a voice modem and VoiceGuide V5? My current application is pretty basic, just a simple callback system, and using a voice modem has it's benefits of unlimited (and free) availability for VG evaluation on almost any PC in sight that has just a fax modem installed.

So can anyone say ANYTHING good about voice modems with VG5, and most interesting for me, on VOIP based analog lines?...
