Test Modems

We have invested 32 man hours so far trying to 'prove' this software to get funding both for its purchase and the right hardware so far we have not been able to get 3 internal modems and a dialogic card to work all outdated but should be functional, one newer external hayes modem worked intermitantly but failed to play sound when you dial in after any changes where made, however would always play sound if you set up a dial out script.

 

any ideas or methods others have used to do a 'free' test to prove the system to get funding would be appreciated, known issues with hayes accura usb external modem?

I'd recommend avoiding internal modems - high proportion of internal modems do not work well. There have also been reports of early USB drivers not working well for Voice - but not sure if these problems are widespread these days...
