Voicemail Not Detecting Hangups

Hello,

 

I've got a Toshiba Strata DK280 configured with the D tone activated upon hangup. I'm running against a Dialogic D/41D in a Win2k box running VoiceGuide 4.8.51 Pro 4 Line. Below is a snippit indicating that the D tone is being received by VG during a voicemail message record:

The Voicemail module does not seem to be hanging up the call ever in response to the D tone - it must be stopped using the hang up button.

 

I've added "On {D} Goto [Hangup]" to the other modules in the script and confirmed that the script does immediately proceed to the Hangup module upon reception of the D tone.

 

I've looked through the articles I could find on Disconnect detection, and I've looked through the articles on voicemail - so far I can't find anything marrying the two together. And I can't find anywhere to put an "On {D}..." statement so that it impacts voicemail.

 

I figure i must be over-looking something -- can anyone point it out?

I believe global "Hangup DTMF Tone Detection" was implemeted in v4.9 - it was not supported in v4.8.x

 

You will need to upgrade to current version of VoiceGuide to use this feature.
