Example 300 Line System

I'm planning for a possible future implementation of about 250 lines. What example system, would support up to 300 lines?

In US I would assume I'd use T-1 lines. What Dialogic card is good. How about machine speed? Windows 7 or go with 2008 server?

T-1 can be provisioned for 24 or 23 lines?

Are there volume discounts for Voice Guide, or is it still $249/port for a 250 or 300 line system?

For a larger systems we'd recommend using ISDN PRIs. Each T1 ISDN carries 23 channels.

 

What Dialogic card is good.

Have a look at the DMV1200B cards.

 

How about machine speed?

Would recommend higher end Intel Xeon based server system. It really depends on what type of script the system is running and if there will be any other applications running on this server. If you can provide more information on scripts etc then we can advise better.

 

Windows 7 or go with 2008 server?

Either is fine.
