Vg As Voip Gateway

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Is it possible to route E1 lines (dialogic) to VOIP number (SIP Trunk provider) using VG ?

Actually i need VoiceGuide to act as VOIP gateway :

Our customers will dial a local number which connected to VoiceGuide system

And the voiceGuide system route the call(dialout) using VOIP to ACD system(IP) over internet.

If yes, please advise about the recomended hardware & the version of voice guide to be used? VG-HMP or VG-Dialogic?

Thanks,

Yes, you can have VoiceGuide use E1 and VoIP (SIP or H.323) on same system.

The system would need to be set up using the Dialogic HMP drivers, and an HMP E1 interface card would be used to make the HMP system accept an E1 connection.

For information on the Dialogic DNI series of HMP interface cards see:

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Yes. DNI300TEPHMPW is used to connect to T1/E1 trunks.

The DNI cards are for use with HMP systems.

Yes. You can have ISDN T1/E1 cards and analog cards in same system and bridge calls across them.

You would use just normal SR6.0 drivers for this, not HMP.
