Hi,

 

When using a D/300-JCT plugged on a E1 trunk, is it possible to hide the caller number when doing outgoing calls?

Yes. You just ask the which supplied to E1 Telco to not send out a CallerID unless you explicitly specify it on the outbound call.

 

NB: Most Telcos will then only allow you to specify the CallerID from a range of numbers assigned to this E1.e 100

 

A common use is to have a block of 100 numbers assigned to an E1, and use a different number for CallerID on outgoing call depending on what type/service the outgoing call is.
