Dial Out

Using Voiceguide Ver 5 enterprise+dialer with way2call Hi-Phone Desktop USB

 

I have a 800 number with RingCentral.

 

Still learning VG features, but can voiceguide be configured so that anytime it dials out, it uses my 800 number. It would have to first dial my 800 number, then the * key and then enter my password, then the number 3 and finally dial the number that I actually want to call. I want it to do this every time it makes an outgoing call, even when voiceguide voicemail manager is configured so that a new messages will be forwarded to the phone number specified. Not sure where I would configure the voicemail manager to call out using the above steps. Can probably figure it out when I'm controlling the dialing out in my script but not sure where voicemail manager can be configured to do the above. Thanks.

You can just add the 800 number (and *,PIN,3 etc) as the prefix to the number to be actually dialed.

 

VoiceGuide will tell the telephony device to just dial the full specified number sequence.

 

Use commas to indicate a pause between the various numbers dialed.
