D/4Pci - Cant Make Outgoing Calls

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

We currently have a D/120JCT-LS dialogic card that services 12 numbers.

Server is running Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2194 SP 4

Dialogic is running Release SR5.1.1, Version DNA5, Build 30, Service Pack None

PBX is a Nortel Meridian rel 25 i believe

I have found 2 x Dialogic D/4PCI cards and installed them alongside the D120 card.

In DCM, all the cards are showing a green status so look good !

So, i can make an outbound call using Multithreaded Voice utility from one of the 12 channels on the D120 card and the number rings. :o)

But when i try from one of the new channels on 1 of the D/4PCI ports, the extension i am ringing does not ring out !

So, can anyone give me any advice as to what to try next please ?

I have plugged a normal handset into the patch panel and can confirm the extension that the port is using is live.

I cannot raise a support call with Dialogic as the company does not have a support contract with Dialogic and i believe these cards are retired anyway but my feelings are, that there is no reason why they shouldnt work.

Any ideas please ?

I will say that i am not a switch/voice guy so be gentle with me please :o)

Many thanks in anticipation,

Sean

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the system initialization and the outgoing call, this will allow us to see what happened.

in VoiceGuide v6 enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below:

[Log]

VoiceGuide=10

NumberLoader=0

VoicemailManager=0

EmailSender=0

TapiWrapOcx=10

SapiWrapOcx=0

Debug Trace files will be created in VoiceGuide's \log\ subdirectory.

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
