Intel Won't Provide Drivers

Recommended Posts

According to your tech support and the Intel tech support web site, we need 5.1.1 feature pack 1 for our Dialogic D/4PCI to make it work with VoiceGuide.

The Intel/Dialogic web site requires an "entitlement code" in order to download the drivers, and when we call Intel/Dialogic they say we should get the entitlement code from our distributor/VAR.

We just bought the board brand new from TechData, but of course, TechData has not returned our calls yet and seems to have no knowledge of what Intel is talking about.

Help!

What version of Windows is used on this system?

We recommend using Dialogic cards on Win2000 SP2 (or WinNT SP6.0a), and on these system Dialogic's SR5.1.1 + SP1 Drivers should be installed (SP1, not FP1)

SR5.1.1 and SP1 can be freely downloaded from:

http://resource.intel.com/telecom/support/...ntary/index.htm

Evaluation FP1 can also be downloaded for free. The above link also points to the FP1 download, you just need to register (free).

The download page for FP1 evaluation states:

Intel® Dialogic® System Release 5.1.1 FP1 for Windows® NFS

This software is for evaluation purpose only and is not for sale (NFS). This version may be used for ten consecutive hours. At the end of each ten hour period, all Intel® Dialogic® boards will shut down, and the system must be restarted manually. Although this cycle can be repeated indefinitely, this software is not practical for deployment.
