Vg Service Stopped - Why?

Recommended Posts

Can you post the DrWatson reports of this error?

There is something strange happening in the ktTel trace, but it's not clear at this stage what actually happened.

Are the ktTel and vgEngine log levels set to 10 in VG.INI file?

Please tell us more about the system that you are using. Which version of Windows is used and which version of System Release drivers are used. What Dialogic cards are used on this system?

Do the phone lines attached to this system send CallerID as DTMF tones?

0319_ktTel.txt file should let us see what events lead up to this problem.

It looks like on this system you have some cross-talk between the lines. The DTMF tones on lines 1 are heard by line 2 even when no call was on that line and VoiceGuide was not handling such an error condition well.

Suggest you check your wiring (or maybe your card is faulty?) to make sure that this is resolved ad otherwise when there is a call on both lines then the keys pressed on one line will be heard by the other.

This version fixes this issue and will handle the above mentioned error condition: [old link removed]
