dialogic D/4PCI/U, intel6.1

multiple voice/fax modems

 

I configured the app to use dialogic board like to add additional voice modem/line devices

 

Can you provide sample config.xml

 

is it even possible ??

 

i am still in testing stage

 

the D/4PCI/U is not fax compatible...can it still be used to receive faxes..tried your record module setup to no avail

 

scouting forum to no avail

 

objective is to maybe use external modem in addition to D/4PCI/U to provide fax receive alternative.

Not possible. You cannot mix Dialogic cards and voice modems.

No. You need a card that is fax capable. Every current model Dialogic card is fax capable. D/4PCIU is not a current card, it has been replaced by D/4PCIUF - which is fax capable.

 

Suggest you get a D/4PCIUF (or D/41JCT etc).
