Hangup Module And Analog Lines

Recommended Posts

I have a trouble about the HangUp Module...

It works fine with ISDN Lines (release the Line and the caller can hear the sound of line disconnected) but using analog lines it doesn't work fine ( the caller hear Just a silence and the line is not really disconnected).

I use VG 7 Enterprise with PBX LGNOrtel LDK-100 ( ISDN and Analog Lines) and 2 Dialogic cards D4PCIU4SWEU

The Transfert Call Module work fine with both analog and ISDN line

Any Suggestion?

Many PBXs/Switches do not play any disconnect tone to original caller when the handset which received the call has hung up.

Best way to check for yourself that VoiceGuide/PBX has hung that line is to place another call into that line while the original caller is still listening to silence. If the new call arrives on that line then this will show you that the previous call was ended as far as VoiceGuide & PBX is concerned.

The D4PCIU4SWEU is an analog card, so you would not be able to use digital or ISDN lines with it, what card are you using for ISDN testing?
