Hi-phone Desktop Rs232

Recommended Posts

Hi every body,

I'm trying to realize a personal IVR system and I've bought a way2call HI-Phone desktop RS232, as suggested in 'Recommended hardware' section , but I have some configuration problem.

The phone device seems to be correctly installed.

At the end of the 'wizard' procedure the 'state' is 'line ID not found'.

My OS is windows xp home edition with sp3.

Thanks for your help.

Can you post some screenshots of what you are seeing?

Have you used any of the sample programs that came with the HI-Phone to confirm if the HI-Phone TAPI/Wave drivers were installed properly?

Hi,

thanks for our attention,

in control panel of winxp the device results only in the 'audio controller' group of device.

If I start 'Test wizard' I can select 'Hi-phone Desktop RS232 0 - Unplugged' and push on 'Go' the log is :

H/W Capabilities word=00000000

H/W Ext. Capabilities word=00000000

S/W Version=1.3.4.9

F/W Version=0.00.00

S/N=

***** Handset already Off-Hook

Headset no. 2 in

Headset no. 1 in

Short Event: Code=000000f0 Data=00000000

In the 'Tapi setup' I can select 'Hi-phone Desktop RS232 0 - Unplugged' and configure it.

In the 'device select' box of 'Sound card switcher' it doesn't appear nothing and if I select 'use headset' it goes in error state.

When I start 'Drivers information' it shows:

Are you able to use any of the demo apps that come with this device to confirm that it is correctly setup and configured? Any apps that would allow you to confirm that the device can answer calls and play/record/etc ?
