Hi

 

We have a license for version 5.0 with 2 lines.

 

We've downloaded the new 7.0.3 version and we'd like to know if we can update or we'll have to purchase new licenses.

You can purchase an upgrade from v5.x to v7.x.

ok, we just sent an email

 

we tried to use our serial number and it seemed to work however

 

anyways, if we are not entitled for un upgrade we'll just pay as required

doesn't this new version come with that monitor window which showed what was happening in real time? that was really useful...

v7 does have with Line Status Monitor application, which shows the lines status as well as other relevant information about the call.

I think you refer to that one which shows in just one line everything that is going on with that that particular phone line?

 

if that's the case, that's not what I meant

 

the old version had an entire screen showing in real time what was happening with all lines and you could scroll up to check what happened

 

 

 

v7 does have with Line Status Monitor application, which shows the lines status as well as other relevant information about the call.

The trace logs files are still saved, in VoiceGuide's \log\ subdirectory.

 

If you would like to view them in real-time then you can use any of the 'tail' applications. eg: WinTail: http://www.baremetalsoft.com/wintail/
