Dialogic Card Neither Dialling Out/receiving Incoming With Pbx

Recommended Posts

Hi,

For our marketing purposes in our organization in UK, we bought a dialogic card D/41JCTLS. We downloaded voiceguide to try it with dialogic.

We installed the card, System release 'sr511', with update 'sr511su136', including WAVE driver and it is working fine. We ran the Universal Dialogic Diagnostic, all the tests passed.

We have Nortel BCM as PBX. We need to dial 9, to dial out of PBX, and say my extension is 258. We checked the extension with telephone, we were able to dial and receive calls in that extension.

Next we tried to run the 'Multi threaded voice' Sample application, provided by INTEL, for receiving and dialing call. We disconnected the extension at telephone end and we plugged the same in to channel 1 of dialogic card.

we tried to dial out to the mobile number '07872440129', but there was no response (text), and a high pitch sound in speaker. Then we tried the same by prefixing 9 to dial out of PBX, i.e. '907872440129'. the response was same as previous.

We even tried to dial to another extension 259; then dialed from 259 to dialogic card(ext 258). the program did not show the incoming call, and we did not hear the ringback tone from the dialling extension.

We tried the PBExpert program from Program files ->Intel Dialogic System Software. It did not recognize the ringback tone, busy tone and disconnect tone.

We have two issues.

1) how to dial out of PBX and receive calls from dialogic card. what should be configured? Dialogic Card, PBX or Both? Any utilities for checking the accuracy of settings.

2) How to use PBExpert to generate TSF File? How we will attach the TSF file to Dialogic Card/Software? How to edit it manually? If available, what are the settings for UK, we use BT lines.

Hope i have provided enough information for the resolution of the Problem. Anticipating a resolution asap.

thank you,

Manigandan.V

Which version of VoiceGuide are you using?

How are you loading the outgoing calls into VoiceGuide?

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Trace Logs which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what happened.

Enable logging by setting the log levels to 10 in VG.INI as per below:

[Log]

VoiceGuide=10

Then restart VG and make a test call which demonstrates the problem.

Trace files will be created in VG's \log\ subdirectory.

Please post the traces.

When posting traces/scripts please .ZIP them up and post them as attachments.
