I Only Hear The Script Beeing Played Through My Pc

Dear support at Katalina!

 

I downloaded the demo version of Voice Guide for Tapi. I am using an Dialogic D/21D card.

Voice guide has found the Dialogic card, and everything seems to work fine. It is also possible to dial out, the problem is, I made a script, and selected it in the Telephone Number Loader. When I press dial, the system dials out to the number which is my second line. When I pick up the phone, Voice Guide is starting to play the script, the problem is, that I can't hear the script beeing played on the phone that is answering the Voice Guide call, I only hear the script beeing played through my PC speakers.

 

Can you please let me know how to fix this problem?

I'm not support, just a fellow Voiceguide user Alex, but I think the problem is your wave drivers. My guess is that support will tell you to uninstall your existing wave drivers and then reinstall them again. I think I even read virtually the same question posted by another user to this forum some time ago. You might try using the search function in the forum to look up the old post and SupportTeam's answer if you're in a hurry.

Sounds like the cards Wave drivers were not correctly installed - can you please try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. Try calling in after doing this, and if the sound can be heard over the phone you can then try to re-install your sound card drivers.

 

To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers.

Dear support!

 

I installed the driver, and now, when I make a call through Voice guide to my other line, and I anser the call, as soon as I say hello, voice Guide hangs up, again and again...

 

looking forward to any ideas...that will help solving the prob.

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is going wrong.

 

(When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.)
