Auto Dialer

Recommended Posts

Hello,

If we import several thousand number into the auto dialer database, how does voice guide know where to restart when the system restarts or the hours start up the next day? We have looked at the access table and there seems to be no indication of where the file has processed to.

We see the logs that show numbers processed as well as the other logs concerning answer machine and human answered. However, we wanted to know how you know where to restart the dialer program? This would help us to clean up the database as well.

Thanks,

Once the call has been successfully made it is deleted from the auto dialer database of calls which are to be made. Data about the call is saved in the log files of the script used and any other Databases which you would choose to update from inside eh script (or the on-hangup script).

The data base only holds calls which are still to be made.

The times during which the calls can be made is set at the time when the calls are loaded - look at the options available to you in the Telephone Number Loader or the parameters of the functions or input files used to load the calls.
