Dial Out

Hello,

I am not sure why the phone doesn't ring when VG dial the number. The problem is VG dial the number and then run the script or sound file and hung up. But the phone (the one VG called) doesn't even ring!!!

 

I have deleted the outbound call database, and let VG to create a new mdb file. I also reboot the system to reset the dialogic file but neither one was helpful.

the line that connected to Dialogic has dial tone too.

 

I am using VG version 5.2.5049.

Here are a few things you should do to test the phone line:

 

1. Try calling other numbers to confirm that line can call other numbers,

 

2. Try calling that number using another line,

 

3. Try calling that number using a telephone handset attached to the line that VG is using.

 

Depending on the outcome of above tests this should help you diagnose better where the problem lies...
