Adding More Lines To D/4pciu

Hi all,

I purchased one of the above cards and the voiceguide software and its working great! Interacting with databases etc! (Im pleased!).

 

I need to add another line to accept more calls. I have one telephone wall socket from which a cable runs and plugs into one port on the D/4PCIU. Do I just call the telephone company and tell them to add another line on to that number? If so then I have one cable with 2 lines on it. Do i buy a splitter and feed it into 2 ports on the dialogic?? Or do you need a new wall socket with new telephone number for each dialogic port?

You really need to speak with your telephone company to see what options are available to you. Quite possibly you will just need to run another line.
