Pound # And Star * Sign Not Recongnized

Hello,

 

we've got an issue with one of our clients using our voiceguide system.

When prompted for its customer id, he can enter the ID and voiciguide console records it, but he can't confirm it using the pound or star sign, voice guide just waits as if no key was pressed... until timeout occurs. If he tries the same thing with his cell. phone, everything works fine.

 

Any idea why?

This sounds like the PBX is not able to send DTMF * or # from the extension. What PBX are they using?
