Announced Call Transfers Not Completing

We would like to ask you a question. Conserning about calltransfers.

Voice guide does the transfers just fine until the call is answered. when we

answer the call it won´t connect. and on the other end of the line it just

keeps playing the ringing tone.

So what we are trying to do is a double transfer.. when the first transfer

is not answered it transfers to another number. It transfers the first call

just fine and the second, but we are not able to answer. when we answer the

call we hear nothing. and as I said the other end just hears the ringing

tone.. I would be pleased if you had any idea what I should do. we are

using a modem blaster 56k ext. in win2k. we have also spoken with our pbx

about this problem and they didn´t really know how to help. Here is our

event trace log.

the recipient hears "press 1 to accept the call". but after that there

is nothing but silence.. and the caller just hears the ringing tone all the

way during the transfers. we have done some changes with our pbx to our

phone lines just for testing. and they

have now configured our lines as it were earlier when the announced transfer

was working. maybe we should try other settings with our pbx? because

earlier the modem could handle transfers just fine and now there have been

these strange problems.

The trace show that at no stage the modem reports that it has heard the

recipient press '1'....

If the recipient of call does press 1 then this means the modem cannot

detect those tone very well - the only solution is to try using a different

modem, or a different telephone handset at the recipient's extension (or

both).

You mention that before the call transfers worked fine, were the calls transferred to the same extension and using the same modem?
