Discontinue Running Script On Callpickup

Recommended Posts

Suppose VG Is answering the call. is there a way to ask the script to

discontinue if we pick up the call manually? what should the script

look for to detect that the receiver has been pickedup.

Help greatly appreciated.

You can design the script in such a way that pressing a certain button (say "*") instructs the script to hangup from every module in the script - then when the handset o the same line is picked up the key "*" is pressed which results in VoiceGuide hanging up. To achieve this just have a "On * goto..." path in every module, and point the path to a Hangup module.

The caller would of hear the "*" as well, but this is usually acceptable.

Its not possible to automatically detect if another handset on the same line is picked up. None of the telephony cards has the circuitry on board to detect this.
