Abe Report post Posted 06/28/2003 06:41 PM Most of VG is great and I am gratedful for the product. One "finishing touch" would be the addition of an additional field to the daily trace log. That would be a Date Time Stamp (DTS). It obviously need not be in a text form, but rather a LONG would do it. We normally use a LONG output that represents the number of Milliseconds.... etc. to do this. An additional feature in the "View Trace Log" could interpret the DTS to display the text form of the data and time when the log is viewed. I use this technique for a log that is deep within a device with little space available and it works very nicely. The current logs give only a relative indication of time while the date of course is the in the name of the file. .... Thanks ... abe Share this post Link to post
