LanceR Report post Posted 02/03/2006 06:07 PM All of a sudden, I can't seem to start Voiceguide. I get "Error 481 Invalid Picture Type". It is the most recent voiceguide with the dialogic patches. I'm using the Dialogic 4/PCI on a Win2K3 server and the SR5.1 stuff. It was working great for a few weeks. Share this post Link to post
LanceR Report post Posted 02/03/2006 07:22 PM Also... I do have AT&T voices running along with the SAPI 5.1. I had FireDaemon running Voiceguide as a service. I removed the service and trying uninstalling / reinstalling voice guide and it wont start. Same error. Share this post Link to post

LanceR Report post Posted 02/04/2006 12:57 AM I'll have to put back the Win2K3 Drive. I put in a new drive and installed Win2K Server and am in the process of setting it back up. I uninstalled the service and tried it again, no go. Some sites referenced a possible permission issue, but I don't know. Share this post Link to post

LanceR Report post Posted 02/04/2006 01:30 AM It's just a generic error that appears when VG/Dialogic is launched. I'm going to see how far I get doing a clean install on a new Win2K Server setup. Then I'll flip my drive back and do a screen shot. If the Win2K setup works, then I wont worry unless it appears again. BTW. Thanks for providing a pretty clear step by step for doing the install's with Dialogic. I know there are so many permutations on how to install, but the steps you lay out are pretty dang clear and work. Share this post Link to post
