Call Transfer

I want to know how many telephone lines will be reserve for each call transfer.

If doing a hookflash transfer then the line becomes free after the transfer is made, and the line can accept another call.

 

If doing a 'Dial and Conference' transfer then a second call is made on another line and the original call and the new call are cross-connected. Both lines are used while the conversation is taking place.

Can we do this without PBX?

In our situation we have only analog telephone line. Please explain how we can do the call transfer and advice the hardware setting.

In our situation we have only analog telephone line.

Ask your phone company if they provide a call transfer service on that line. If they do not then you will not be able to hookflash transfer calls on that line.

the application can forward call to the outside phone no?

That depends on what features are supported by the phone company or the PBX.

 

If using dial and conference then the call can be made to any number.
