Voiceguide Crashing

We run Voiceguide v5.2.1005 on Windows 2000 and are experiencing intermittant crashes, which I'm trying to diagnose.

 

The problem is when I turn on logging with the following in Vg.ini :

 

[TraceLog]

;LogDebugToFile: 0=do not log, 1=always log to file c:\VoiceGuideLogMMDD.txt

LogToFile=1

;TraceLevel : only messages at that trace level or lower will be printed. (max trace level setting is 10)

TraceLevel=10

 

then restart Voiceguide, I get no output file at either c:\VoiceGuideLogMMDD.txt or C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\log\....

 

Can you please explain what to do to turn logging on.

The above is with a view to eventually resolving our intermittant crashing problem. Could you please look at this issue aswell.

Please update to the latest release of VoiceGuide available from our WWW (v5.2.3)

 

If problems still persist please post a screenshot of what you see on the screen when the problem occurs.
