Answer Detection In Transfer Call Module

Hello. I'm using VoiceGuide 5.2.3053 with Dialogic's System Release 5.1.1.

 

My problem is that the transfer call module (I'm using the announced transfer call) starts playing the message without waiting for the call to be answered so, when the called person answers the call, the announce message has already started. I need the message to start playing after the called person answers the call.

 

Is there any workaround?

 

Will this feature be improved in a future release of VoiceGuide?

You will need to use "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" to allow for detection of whether the transferred call has been answered by a human or an answering machine.

I don't need to distinguish between human person and answering machine. Do I need to use "VoiceGuide for Dialogic" anyway?

Yes. VG for Dialogic can tell when the destination extension is answered.

 

Otherwise the 'please accept this call' message needs to be played.
