Interacting Access Database

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am evaluating software to apply on a solution to the company in which i am working.

The problem is: a call center agent needs to query remotely an access database to fetch a sound file which will be reproduced on a conversation with the customer.

The plan is: after the query, the call center agent should be able to bring up to the conversation (doing a conference call) the voice modem which will be installed on a server and will have to reproduce the *.wav file that resulted from the query.

Is it possible to do this on your "Script Designer"? Could you kindly describe, how would be the cascade of the modules in the script designer?

Many thanks in advance,

nuno

Sounds like the agent should be able to indicate to VoiceGuide what sound file to play when it answers the call, and then make a conference call into VG and VG would then answer the call, play the specified file and then hang up.

The best way is to allow the agent to somehow stick the filename of the sound file to be played into a database or some other place from where VG can retrieve the filename, and set up a VoiceGuide script to just retrieve the filename from that location and then play it.
