Guest Modem stopped working Report post Posted 07/18/2004 11:00 PM My story 1) I was using a cheap SmartLink 56K modem, works fine 2) Tried to install an external creative 5671 external modem, did not work 3) Now, I put the smartlink modem back in, not working either the error was "Wave driver not installed", i checked device manager, the audio driver is "full-duplex", see image. I installed the creative 5671 usb modem on my notebook, works fine with VG. The audio driver is "half-duplex". It seems that VG requires "helf-duplex" audio driver. Now the question is, how do I change the driver to half-duplex? No idea how it became full-duplex. Share this post Link to post
