Call Transfer

Hi

 

We are building an automated Information Line system using VoiceGuide and have need to use the Call Transfer option in order to transfer our incoming caller to an external telephone number where an operator will be available to take the call over from the information line.

 

We do not want to send the caller back into the Information line system once they have been connected to the operator. If the operator does not answer the call, we want them to stay in the Information Line system.

 

We have read the Help page regarding call transfer, but do not understand which option would suit our needs best. Our system uses a 4-port Dialogic PCI card.

 

We are in the United Kingdom. The call would need to be transferred to a telephone number that is not on an internal PBX system, it would be treated as "an external line".

 

Please could you advise which option from the ones available would best suit our need?
