Smaller PCIe Card?

Recommended Posts

We've been successfully using a D/4PCI card for many years. For unrelated reasons, we want to replace that workstation and the replacement only has a PCIe port.  I'm finding all the 4-line PCIe cards are extremely long and would only fit in the largest of cases.  Ours are minitowers.  Are you aware of any 'normal' sized PCIe, 4-line, budget card(s)?

The Dialogic D/4PCI series cards are 'half length' 4-line cards. The D/41JCT series cards are 'full length' 4 line cards.

Which cards are you using now? D/4PCI series cards should fit in most 'minitower' systems.

Can you post some photos?

The D/4PCI is a regular PCI port all my newer systems only have PCIe, so I don't think it will accept it.

D/4PCI series cards have versions that use PCIe.

Look for:

D4PCIUFEQ /  D4PCIUFEW - PCIe and has 4 'Fax' resources in addition to standard voice

D4PCIU4SEQ / D4PCIU4SEW - PCIe and has 4 'Speech' resources in addition to standard voice

Pretty sure the "E" in the names stands for 'Express' - ie: PCIe

Note that a lot of sellers on Ebay etc. get the photos wrong by reusing one standard photo of a 'short' card over and over. You need to look at the card model tag itself, and it's best to just contact seller to confirm what they actually have.

Below is one photo of a D/4PCI series card that has a PCIe interface:
