VG ends in 3CX every 2 Minutes

Recommended Posts

Hello.

VG ends the connection every 2 Minutes with the Connection to the 3CX Cloud PBX. Wireshark shows no errors. But I can see it in the Cloud PBX. The member turns from green to grey. Just a reconnect to 3CX solves this problem. What is the problem?

Greetings, Stefan

Please try updating your system to the below version of VoiceGuide:

https://www.voiceguide.com/release/VoiceGuide_7.7.11_260719_FJCSPZXW.exe

It looks like the version that you are currently using is not responding to the SIP NOTIFY that your cloud 3CX PBX is sending, and perhaps that could be the reason. Attached version should fix that.

If that does not resolve it can you try using a newer version of HMP? On our Downloads page the latest HMP version can be used with: "Windows Server 2022, 2019, 2016" and looks lie you are using Windows Server 2016, somupdating to HMP US548 is an option. (your system is currently running HMP SU393)

If you still have issues then please try setting this in VG.INI:

[SIP]
UserAgent=MicroSIP/3.21.3

and then restart VoiceGuide, and capture a WireShark trace when VoiceGuide is running with the UserAgent=MicroSIP/3.21.3 setting.

Have you tried just connecting to your 3CX extension using MicroSIP? can you post a WireShark trace of the MicroSIP connection (run capture for about 3 minutes please).

To change to a different version of VoiceGuide:

  1. Stop VoiceGuide Service. VoiceGuide can be stopped by clicking on the VoiceGuide Service Monitor in the Windows's Icon Tray on bottom right of the taskbar and selecting "Stop".
  2. Exit all VoiceGuide programs. This  includes the Service Monitor applet in the Icon Tray area in bottom right of the screen,  as well as the Script Designer, Line Status Monitor, etc.
  3. Do NOT uninstall the previous VoiceGuide installation.
  4. Stop the Dialogic service using the Dialogic Configuration Manager (DCM), or Windows' Services Applet.
  5. Run the VoiceGuide install and install into same directory as existing installation.
  6. Start VoiceGuide service.

Note: Running a VoiceGuide install over the top of an existing install will NOT overwrite existing configuration or license files (Config.xml, ConfigLine.xml, VG.INI, etc) and will not remove any of users script or sound files, and will not remove any log files etc.
