gbrompl Report post Posted 09/19/2003 05:26 AM doh , will have to learn to read "all" doco thanks again, one more thing I am running vg as a service, using firedaemon lite, dialogic is set to auto start, windows 2k login is auto user administrator, works perfectly. but when I use the -icon switch in the vg service config to get the vg icon running in the task bar vg shows line state as blank. my time to start vg service is set to 45000 ms ie 45 seconds allowing for the dialogic service to begin. any ideas also tried to get the service to run as a standard user, it works by setting the service to run as localsystem account but I get errors " could not open service control manager". I acknowledge the error msgs and it works any thoughts ? regards Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/19/2003 05:44 AM Once you select to run VoiceGuide as a service the -icon switch (or any other command line switches) should not be used. Also the service should be started using an Administrator account - otherwise the kinds of annoyances that you are seeing now can pop up... Share this post Link to post
