Sending Back Success Or Fail Result From Shlreslt

Hi

 

I currently use a run program module and when it is run a SHLRESLT.TXT is written with variables of the following format.

[RvName1]{Value1}[RvName2]{Value2}

 

My program can detect if some something has gone wrong and in this case i need to be able to inform voice guide of this failure. It is not clear from the help notes what i should wite into SHLRESLT.TXT to inform voiceguide that the module has failed.

 

I want to loop back to an earlier module if my program spots the error.

 

should i simply write FAIL in the SHLRESLT.TXT file?

ahh i think i may have answered my own question rading just a little further down the help file:

 

If the result file contains some data, then the "Success" path is taken. If the result file is empty then the "Fail" path is taken. If the program could not be started then the "Fail' path is taken.

 

I just write an empty SHLRESLT.TXT file.
