Config Of D/4pci For Hong Kong

Recommended Posts

I want to config the dialogic card (D/4PCI) for Hong Kong use, but I can't find the my country in country parameter of Dialogic Configuration Manager, How to config about it!

And I test the VG to receive the call need a long time (3-4 rings), I just want 2 rings.

And I use the phone to dial to VG, it doesn't answer the call and I hear "beep" sound like a fax receive voice.

Thanks!

Can you ask the distributor from whom you purchased the card for advice on what the selections in the DCM (Dialogic Configuration Manager) should be? The local people from whom you purchased the card should know this kind of 'local' knowledge...

And I test the VG to receive the call need a long time (3-4 rings), I just want 2 rings.

Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures an incoming call, this will allow us to see how the call arrives...

(When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.)

Also, can you attach a telephone handset 'in parallel' with the phone lines plugged into the Dialogic card and see how many times the telephone handset rings before the call is answered by VG? On some phone networks the caller will hear ringing before the destination extension has started ringing - attaching a phone 'in parallel' will let you better see how many rings the Dialogic card actually sees.

And I use the phone to dial to VG, it doesn't answer the call and I hear "beep" sound like a fax receive voice.

I thought you just said that the call is answered...(after 3-4 rings). If you hear beeps when you dial then you should ask your phone company why thay are playing these beeps..

Thanks for your reply!

My conditions

I use the VG just record data to database

No need to transfer call

I would like to ask about country parameter in (DCM), what for use? If I use default setting...(that mean I choose China or US)...what will be affect with this setting?

And my dailogic card (D/4PCI) is buy from internet...where can I get the information about country parameter setting?

Also I enclosed the VG Event Trace Log for after 3-4 rings to receive the call (I just want 2 rings) , and TSP config of D/4PCI (attached file: d41cfg.txt). Is the setting correct?

One more questions....

I try to dail to VG, if I hangup the phone when the the VG still playing script, after I wait the VG go back ready status(Waiting for a call...), and then I dail to VG again, It just hear like connect to fax modem sound, and my phone will hangup by the system...(VG did not answer THIS call )

So sorry ask many questions, because I am a beginner of the field.

Thanks

Not sure what the DCM Country & Parameter Files should be for HK. You should seek support on such localization-related questions from your local Dialogic distributor/reseller in HK... (obtaining access to such support is a major factor why people buy cards from local authorized distributors).

Have you tried setting VG to answer after 1 ring?
