Hello guys, how can the email address be formatted to add the recipient's name?

 

Name: Dick Smith

Email Address: dick.smith@somedomain.com

 

whats the correct format?

 

<Dick Smith> dick.smith@somedomain.com ???

Dick Smith <dick.smith@somedomain.com> ???

<Dick Smith - dick.smith@somedomain.com> ???

Other format ???

In the Send Email module in the "To:" field the actual email address must be used.

 

Senders name can be specified in the Send Email module.

 

If you know how to work with databases then you probably can specify the Recipients name if you insert the records into the EmailQue database directly.

Start VG and open the EmailQue database in VG's \data\ subdirectory to find out the database table structure.
